Law as an interesting study

 Law 


This year, I have chosen law as one of my courses in the first semester. It was one of the best decisions I have taken. It is a very interesting subject and I have enjoyed the course very much. At the beginning I didn't have any idea about law. What it means, what does the course include and what is the purpose of it. Later on, I have discovered that it is one of the most important courses and that is somehow applied in our everyday life. 


Law is the system of rules, that regulates countries, people and the actions of people in every society. There is no country with no law and accordingly there is no place with no rules, which is the base that organizes everything surrounding us. 

I have learned that the word "Law" includes the law of everything like:

  • Common Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Criminology and Penology, Administrative Law, International Law, Commercial Law, Maritime and Air Law and Constitutional Law.
I think it's very interesting to know the rules and regulations that control everything in our lives. Being a lawyer will make you deal with different cases and different kinds of problems. It is not boring as nothing will be repetitive. It will enable you to understand the human behavior and the society. It gives you the chance to experience the quick thinking as you will have to judge situations quickly and take the appropriate action based on law. 
Studying law helps you to control yourself and control your anger or happiness during a trial. It also gives you huge self confidence. 

In class we have experienced an act of a trial. We got divided into a judge, a court reporter, a clerk, the attorneys, witnesses, defendants and jurors. We had to examine a case and find clues. We had the entire week to prepare for this. At the end of the week we played the act of a trial in class. It was a very interesting experience. I enjoyed it a lot. 


Based on the course of Law, that I have attended I have become very interested in the subject, which have encouraged me to apply at the faculty of Law. 
Hope I will be able to fulfill my dream.

"Gratitude Reciprocates"

  Gratitude Reciprocates In the 86 th Oscars, 2014, Mathew McConaughey won the best actor for his role in the movie Dallas Buyers Club. His speech after the announcement was very motivational. He thanked the academy and its members and, actors, director and people who he worked with on daily basis to reach this success. Then he talked about the three things that he needs every days and that keeps him going in life. The three things were something to look up to, something to look forward to and someone to chase. He thanked God, as it’s God who he looks up to. He believes that God graced him with a lot of opportunities in his life that are not of anyone’s hands and that God showed him how gratitude reciprocates. Leading with Lollipops  Drew Dudley began his Ted talk by asking how many people in the audience consider themselves to be leaders. Many of them did not raise their hands in response to the question. We're taught that leadership implies absolute power and the ability to achieve things that no one else can. Rather than utilising the title of leader to define ourselves, we usually expect to earn or be given it. He goes on to explain why this viewpoint is incorrect and how leadership is not the same as that concept. He shares a story about an incident he had with a girl.
